I have a White 2-135 which had a new clutch and over/under put into it a couple years ago. Lately it seems as if the clutch is slipping at times and obviously it can not be a result of a bad/old clutch since it was recently replaced.
I was wondering if anyone has a copy of the tech manual and could send me a scan of it for the seciton describing the clutch adjustment OR just describe to me what the settings are suppose to be (i.e. how much pedal/linkage travel before clutch is suppose to disengage, etc.). I have a feeling the linkage may be set to tight but I don't know what the proper specs are.
Any help would be appreciated!!! |

i would hope that when the clutch was installed the flywheel was reground to the right step height, to much and the clutch would wear prematurely, to little and it wouldn't release correctly. pedal free travel probably, around 1.5 inch at the pedal that would at least tell you if the clutch is at fault, or something else. |
