if anyone can help. will my g-6 lp oil pan replace the 800 pan or what will i have to do? replacing the 800 into the g-6.thank's for any help.

no it wont work because of the oil pump i was told. you would have to change the oil pump in it also. i just bought a hd800 with the smaller pan that is not water cooled and it fit in the tractor fine. you might want to find one of them if possible. this is just what i have been told but i know mine is in the tractor now.

thanks, mine has the water cooled pan on now.will that pan fit in the tractor ?

the g6 pan will fit if you use the g6pump but if you go that route you will need external pressure bypass as the 800 bypass is in the pump. I think the watercooled pan will work in tractor just big and heavy.Paul

i was told that the water cooled pan was to wide for frame rails. i was told also that one held 24 quarts of oil and one 16 quarts. the one i got holds 16 quarts so that cuts back on some weight also.

I have an HD800 pan (not water cooled) that I would be willing to part with.
