Last year bot a d17 series I. Hyd worked, but wouldn"t lift a
snap couple plow Added a two way valve with a shutoff and it
worked fine with a wheel disc Put gauge on line, it built slowly
to 1600#. Replaced pump with a used one the owner swore
worked 100% had used it with 3 pt bushog. After
replacement, the pressure hit 2500# 1 time but woudnt repeat
Cycled a few time. now with the shut off valve open, the arms
will lift 200# ( me) chattering all the while, and will drop. With
the shut off closed, will lift me and chattering and will stick at
top. If I open valve to drop an inch or so then close it will
continue to drop Reads almost nothing on gauge Thoughts?.. |

Since all oil goes through the lift arm cylinder, you might check for bad cylinder or the hose going to the cylinder might be bad. |

Pump on that tractor should be High pressure system, 3500 PSI, 4GPM. Likely a pump problem, or cams that run the pump are worn away. |
