Found a 1954 Farmall 400 sn3005 with Z casting codes. Runs good no smoke, straight tin, fast hitch and ps. Needs rear skins though. What's a fair offer? |

I paid $2500 for a 350 in about the same condition in 2011. (KS) I really doubt if I would have paid any more. |

In my area you would only get 1600/1800. Your going to have 1500/1600 in tires for that tractor plus paint, plus repairs and I'm sure your going to have things to fix. Tires are the big thing, very expensive. |

Just sold my 400 with no p/s good t/a and excellent tires with one set of weights for 2800.00. It had a few leaks but everything worked. I wanted 3200.00, but the guy really wanted it and I believe it went to a good home so I let him have it.
I got toooooo many as it is. |

That is easily a $2500 tractor. Early serial number and all the goodies jack it up quite a bit. From the way you described it sounds pretty nice except the rears. If the rear tires are black and round you can use it as is for a while until you find a good used pair or a good buy on some new ones. |
