I have a friend who has a 4010 LP standard that is PTO delete. He wants to throw a diesel in it so he can use it but he'd like to know if this tractor has any value before he does the swap.
Thanks |

well, they made 57573 4010 tractors and of that they made 792 lp standards. I would say that its a fairly rare tractor. you could be a head of the game selling it and buying a 4010 with a diesel engine giving yourself a lot less labour, part hunting and expense.. thats just my opinion. anyone else want to comment? |

I agree with JD Addict, if he doesn't want to have a
4010 LP standard sell it and take the money from the
tractor and the money he would of spent in parts and
buy the tractor he wants. My basic assumption is he
would be spending money on something that isn't
adding value to the tractor. The exception is if it
was trashed and he had a diesel tractor laying
around that was also messed up only differently. |
