Was wondering how to pull this model tractor up onto a trailer. Was looking through a bunch of pics and noticed this one that shows a cleat dead center on the front axle complete with a clevis. It sure looks factory to me but on no other photo does this cleat show up??

This is not factory.
There is no front hitch on a 55. The 203, before the 55, get a different front axle pivot casting, and a hook was provided.
So you can either weld someting on your front axle, or bolt a C shaped plate with a chain link welded on it, using the bolts of the front axle support.
I hope this helps! |
