The chain hotels and motels are well represented in the area. Google hotels or motels for Geneva, NY, Canandaigua, NY, or Rochester, NY. Should be early enough yet so as not to settle for a flea bag local establishment. Maybe somebody can come up with a good Bed and Breakfast but nothing comes to my mind.

Might even look at Auburn. Less than an hour east, and several new motels.

Call Chamber of Commerce for B + B. Folks always did that when going to Cheyenne to the rodeo.

Better hope NYS doesn't approve drilling and fracking for gas before the expo! There won't be a room available in the state! A bunch of new hotels have been built here in the past 2 years, these are right on the NY/PA border. Right now drilling is pretty much stopped and rooms are readily available.

Here is a link to the show..on the left it has a link to local B&B's and motels. The area will be busy...Empire Farm Days is a few days before this and that will bring lots of people into the area also...If you are coming for the Expo and have anything to do with Agriculture..I would HIGHLY recommend coming early and spending a day at Empire Farm Days..I will create another post underneath this one with the link for Farm Days
Expo link

Look also in the south Rochester 'burbs - especially Henrietta (zip code 14623). This area is loaded with good national chain motels - Red Roof, Super 8, Microtel, Country Inn & Suites, Days Inn, Fairfield, Holiday Inn, etc.

There are plenty of nice places to eat nearby, and it is an easy 35 - 40 minute drive from the show grounds in Canandaigua.
