Here are a few pics of some implements I recently saved. Can anyone help me ID them? I know the middlebuster is JD, but I am hoping to get a model number for it. The gang plow has no marks at all except for a few casting numbers. The landside wheel is not correct, I just put a wheel on to be able to move it. Thanks for any help. BT

The first one is a JD beet harvester, it would plow the rows and you would walk behind it and pick up the beats .

Ah! Middle buster is something I read about here, but is not ever used in these parts.
I was sure confused by that trailing wheel being centered like that, but makes sense if it is a beet (maybe potato too?) lifetime deal, then I can see how it works out.

That "Middle Buster" is a horse drawn Lister planter. Notice the gears on the shaft that would drive the seed plates in the boxes. Not a beet harvester.. |
