I have a lord loader on my 1951 to30,I forget what to use for fluid atf or hydraulic fluid?thanks for the help.

Does you loader have a front mounted pump with a reservoir or does it use the pump in the transmission?

If it is the pump in the transmission do not use either oils. The transmission is not designed to use either of them.

If it is an external mounted pump running off the crankshaft, I would use hydraulic oil.

Straight weight non detergent motor oil works fine.
