Hi all, Thanks for all the help so far, I am still
having a problem with my steering. I have rebuilt
the hydro-motor and repaired all the leaks now my
power steering pump is getting hot, hot enough to
melt my funnel when I wasn't watching. Still dont
have steering although before I did have steering
when I drove it home. |

Sounds like relief valve is blowing full time causing heat. High pressure line blocked somehow? Lines crossed maybe? |

Relief valve is built into PS pump assembly. Had a pump go bad on a 175D due to heat. Someone tried to braze a leak on the pressure line, managed to almost block the line completely causing valve to blow full time. Replaced pump and line to get it fixed. |
