Hi all, Thanks for all the help so far, I am still
having a problem with my steering. I have rebuilt
the hydro-motor and repaired all the leaks now my
power steering pump is getting hot, hot enough to
melt my funnel when I wasn't watching. Still dont
have steering although before I did have steering
when I drove it home.

Sounds like relief valve is blowing full time causing heat. High pressure line blocked somehow? Lines crossed maybe?

Where is the relief valve located?

Relief valve is built into PS pump assembly. Had a pump go bad on a 175D due to heat. Someone tried to braze a leak on the pressure line, managed to almost block the line completely causing valve to blow full time. Replaced pump and line to get it fixed.
