can anyone tell me if the dash fuel gauge on a 12 volt diesel 4010 part #RE53664 will work on a 4010 12 volt LP tractor? My gauge quit the other day.the magnetic gauge on the tank itself still works.i removed the wire from the tank and grounded it to the frame and it went below empty.The rest of the time even after i fill the tank the gauge stays right at empty.
Thanks for any help that anyone can give me.

According to JD parts catalog #691 there's only 1 fuel gauge part # for all 3 type fuels on a 4010 so RE53664 should work fine.
