When putting on timing cover. the manual says to place governor race and shaft ; positon it so that lip is the 8 o''clock position as view from the front. My question is I did'nt do that do you think it will be a problem !!! my timing cover went on nice , my governor lever seems to move freely thanks |

Do you remember about where the lip was when you put the cover on? The tab has to - it seems- be generally where it can hit the lip when running. Are you lucky enough that it might be close enough?
I wondered about that myself, the disc seems to rotate, and the gov lever goes up and away.... |
