I have a bad pinion in an SM. I was wondering if a pinion from a 560 would fit in the SM.And if it would be the same speed. Thank's in advance. |

crown and pinions are a matched unit and are sold or replaced as a unit. cant replace one without the other. |

Unless you have a machine shop and also make gears, there is no way a 560 main shaft with pinion gear will work in a SM. 560 shaft has more splines than a SM and bigger diameter. Yes they can go in a SMTA. |
