I wished I could help you on that but do you know where i could find one for a 37 model A.Mine will run 7 mph wide open with 14.9-38 rear tires.Im wanting to go on some tractor drives. My club goes on around 30 to 40 mile rides. My freinds 52 A will run around 12 to 13
mph. From what I have heard you have to pull the shafts out of the transmision and put the gears on the overdrive shafts. The overdrive shafts is longer and runs the over drive gears in the overdrive unit.Theres one on ebay for 800 bucks or so but for that kind of money its better off to buy a late model 6 speed tractor.

like PBB said.First take top cover off of tranny.Remove shift forks.pull top shaft and gears. lay them out on floor as they come out of tranny. do the same fore the bottom shaft. you will not use the original shafts. you will put back together with longer behlen shafts. when tranny is all back together you will bolt on the behlen box on the flywheel side add the 2 behlen gears to the outside box. add the cover . your done. very time consuming job and most of the time things do not come apart easy!!!!
