Got the stuck injector freed up, it fires both cylinders and runs good for about 2 seconds and dies. Any ideas?
Thanks, you guys who answered my previous questions! |

It is not getting fuel for some reason. I'm not familiar with Detroit Diesel engines. I'd start by checking the fuel filters to ensure they have fuel and work from there. |

Primary Fuel system has to supply 60psi of clean fuel into that port in the head.
If you only unstuck that injector but did not send the pair out for rebuilding into C35's . That engine will sooner or later run away and you will be wishing that you had fixed it right.
Don't be hitting that engine with ether . Sounds like you are. Ether helps keep engine rebuild shops in business. |
