I have a 1965 JD 5010 tractor that I need to get a new injector return line for. It's the line that goes across the top of the injectors and mine may be beyond repair. It's an obsolete part through JD and local salvage yards laugh at me when I say I'm looking for a part for a 5010. So does anyone know of any sources where I may find a new or used one? Or any other equipment that used the same engine and fuel system that I may search for?

You might try MacFadden and Sons in Sharon Springs NY. When it comes to old and salvage, he usually has it. I think his # is 518-284-2090.

I think if I was just wanting to make it work and couldn't find the original return line I would find new banjo fittings (or use your old ones) and install fuel hose between them. The return line is low pressure so anything fairly tight will work. The real concern is the injection lines which are high pressure. Many are obsolete now so be really careful when tightening and clamping them.
