|
|
We are starting to work on a Super Major that has been sitting a long time and the canister for the fuel filter is empty. We got an element for it but it falls deep into the canister. Is there supposed to be a spring or spacer in the canister before the element goes in? |

Not sayin that it is the same by any means but I replaced the one on my 971 a few days ago and the spring was about two inches long and pretty stiff. Something has to hold the filter up to the mating surface. |
