I would bet on it being a 206. I dont know if I have ever seen a 165 power unit. The one next to it looks way more exciting. Jeff |

Looks like the I have used to look like. Mine got thrown up on the scrap pile with the crane. |

I have a 165 power unit, looks the same, only differences are the stroke, main bearings, etc. By the "size" of the air intake and what looks to be a lack of a bolt in the side cover in the middle main brg area, I'd say it's a 206. Pull the side cover and you'll know, 206 has middle main brg and 165 has "follower" for oil control. |

Look at the crankshaft pulley. If it is cast iron, its probably a 206. If its sheetmetal, its probably a 165. |
