I would bet on it being a 206. I dont know if I have ever seen a 165 power unit. The one next to it looks way more exciting. Jeff

I have a 165 power unit, looks the same, only differences are the stroke, main bearings, etc. By the "size" of the air intake and what looks to be a lack of a bolt in the side cover in the middle main brg area, I'd say it's a 206. Pull the side cover and you'll know, 206 has middle main brg and 165 has "follower" for oil control.

Look at the crankshaft pulley. If it is cast iron, its probably a 206. If its sheetmetal, its probably a 165.
