Howdy, I bought a said-to-be-running Super M engine today, but before I put it in my tractor, I may replace some bearings and give it a valve job, along with replacing all the gaskets. My question is: where can I get quality parts for a reasonable price? I know there are several places online that sell parts, but I just don't want to end up ordering junk.

With it out of the tractor get an engine kit (which includes the gaskets), take the head and block to a machine shop to check the block and do the head, along with the crank shaft. Will probably cost you more than you paid for the engine, but you will have like new engine. Right now you really don't know the condition of what you have.
