I just bought a 4440 front end for the heavy front axle and the whole upper center front casting came with it, the part that the steering components are housed in. Is that casting and the steering housing of any value other than scrap? I can't really see anyone wanting the used pistons and seals... |

Yes they are of value, occasionally some one will find a new tile blow hole and the impact will crack the housing where the snap rings hold the pistons in,,I have had 3 or 4 in here for that over the past few years. |

Or if the front pivot pin wears throughout the bushings and into the housing.. It's fixable.. But if u have another housing... Cheaper to use it.. |
