My old green card from the Two Cylinder Club says the 1959's started at 140001 and the 1960's started at 157024. Only two model years. I wonder that that "X" is doing in your serial number?

Oh silly me! Of course that "M" means Horicon not Dubuque so it's a lawn/garden tractor. Anyway, this site http://www.weekendfreedommachines.com/registry/tractorlookup.php says it's a 1990 model

I have heard that this is a very good model of lawn tractor. I have a 455 which is what replaced the 430 and have been very pleased with it.

Actually it was the work of the 2 boys. One painted it and the other did the detailing of it.
