Went and picked up the MF50 this PM. Had a low rear tire so I aired that up.
This tractor has the following numbers:
On tran case left side behind clutch pedal
188 836M91
Under battery left side a plate with SNW 536852
On engine under exhaust manifold 19A7912 C
Anybody know the year and engine size. Its a 3 cyl diesel with fuel pump left side, oilfilter left side and twin filters right side.

Thanks for any help, JIm.

I believe you have a 1964 MF 50 with a 2.5 liter 3 cylinder Perkins diesel. 1964 was the last year they made the MF 50 and what I have heard that is a easy starting and good motor.

Does your tractor have the multi-power lever on the dash? I think that this is what the W stands for in the serial number. The N is for the Perkins engine

This tractor has the multipower lever on the lower right side of the dash. It has a High and low position. NOt sure but I think it works like a torque amplifier for on the go gear reduction.
