Dad rented a SP100 top harvest the first crop of soybeans we grew. That machine had more grease zerks than any other combine I ever saw. Worked good for beans though. |

I came by one of those side delivery rakes a number of years ago. It had no tag or other identifing marks so I didn't know what make it was until a while ago. It still works well. |

Neat pics. When I was about twelve or thirteen, you could order information about most tractors from farm magazines. I ordered a booklet on every model Allis-Chalmers sold. Had a salesman drive up one day. When he saw our little shack I guess he was really disappointed. I kept those booklets until just a few years ago and we were cleaning out the attic one day and I threw them away, Had I only known! Sighhhh. |

had several of the 66 combines. grew up with a AC chopper like that. used a couple of those blowers, that counter balance weight sure makes a nice weight to add on the disk. |

everyone used to make everything , or at least put their name on it... elevator looks alot like the case brand ,, perhaps they shared the same vendor ,,.. the hope after ww2 was to get a leg up on the competition and offer a complete line of equipment engineered to work together well ,.maybe it is just my area where i grew up ,.. .those farmers that pledged allegiance to a certain brand were mostly favorites to only the dealer ,terrribly prejudiced about durn neareverything ..always vo t e d the same damway ,and if you traded with them it was usually one sided.. |

Believe it or not, A-C made a batch of elevators in their own factory . . . once. It took a few years to sell them and they never made any more. Have you ever seen a Dearborn elevator? I've seen one, and I've seen a manual for one on eBay. Never knew they sold one, but would make sense since they had a picker and were selling a dump wagon about that time. |
