Long time member of this forum, Dwayne Hansford, lost 3 barns in a wind storm / possible tornado that passed through central Indiana early yesterday morning. Thank goodness that family members are all OK.
Our thoughts & prayers are with them as they sort thru the mess. |

You all are invited to the weinee roast !!!
Seriously, he said they didn't hear a thing, woke up to the buildings being stirred around the next morning. Lucky things turned out the way they did, could have been so much worse.
Anyone need some gently used lumber or "antique" roofing tin ??? |

Thanks to all of the great antique community for calling and offering there help. We are all ok and house has minor damage just mainly shingles on roof. Lost three older buildings with some toys stored in them but no serious damage just hurt pride. Did not even brake a limb out of a tree but took buildings not over 100 foot from house. I attached a few pictures of damage.

Glad you guys are all ok and the main goodie barn wasn't damaged. Takes a prety good breeze to chuck a plow out in the field, and it looks like the dog's luck just held out too. I guess it could have been worse, but looks like it was plenty bad enough to me. We didn't get anything near that strong up here thank goodness. Take care you guys. |
