I have a three bottom plow with a fast hitch I would like to sell. What is a fair price to ask, is it worth more than scrap? From what I see on here moldboard plows aren't in much demand.

Depending on the model there may be different folks interested. I wouldn't think you would have much trouble finding a Farmall guy looking for one either far a show piece or plow day use. Where are you located?

Most 2 bottom fast hitch plows I see sell at auctions run in the $250 $275 range. Never seen a 3 bottom sell recently.

They are selling anywhere from $250-500 here in SE MN. If it is 16",I would buy it from you but I have to wait and see if I still have the tractor come May due to my job ending and I have to get restarted in a new job.

I would ask around antique shows in your area this summer if you aren't in a hurry to sell it. Do you know what model it is? If you can post a picture up of it that would be nice. It's hard to ID something you can't see. There might even be someone on the board interested in it.

That is probably my ad you saw, I've had it advertized for a long time and no interest, that's why I am asking what's it worth, maybe my price is too high.

Or could be too low for that area and people at that price think it has to be junk only so do not check farther. do you have good pictures of the moldboards and shares in a picture in the add?

If you used the pictures in the add that you put here it cannot be determined if there is even a share on it or what model bottom it has. I think people want to see those details before calling about something.

It looks like a 311, if that's right it would have been made around the same time as the 60 series tractors late 50's to early 60's. I wish I had a few spare bucks that would make a nice garden plow but I have a couple plows already and really can't justify another one right now.

It is a model 311. Can't tell for the leaves - does it have the plow chief bottoms or the super chiefs? That would help in telling the year as most of the later 311s had SC. I have a 311 with cover boards, real good original paint, always shedded, big coulters, super chiefs in s.w. Pa; would take $450 to buy it. Your $300 sounds fair if points, shins, landsides, etc are good.

They are asking 350.00 to 500.00 around here. I like it, but it wont fit behind the SC.

The 311 plows are getting harder to find. I have purchased one that has been sitting in a shed for years. Will bring it home this spring when the weather warms up. How can I tell if it has the plow chief bottoms or the super chief? What is the difference?
