I believe you said you used to be a case dealer so perhaps you can answer my question. On the steel wheel case plows how were they numbered or how do I look for correct model parts book as on messicks site. Have a 2-14" steel wheel to repair for a Amish friend and do not know what to look for as models.

Leroy,
There is a good posibility you have a B, or BH Centennial plow. A pic would help determin the model. I have a parts catalog No.F400 with the break down. I don't want to part with it, but if you need details on a part, give me a shout here .

Thanks. I don't know much about Case as there were no dealers around as I was growing up back when the plows would have been new. What I do know is that my Amish friend's plow that he wants me to work on is a 2 bottom 14" clutch lift that carries the back end of the plow on the tail wheel. The friend is having problems with the clutch but Just what I do not know but I think a good cleaning and new oil might take care of that problem. I have never been inside of a closed type of clutch so I would like to have a parts list for that, something I could print off this site would be good or something emailed to me. His tail wheel also needs rebuilt that I can do but I have no idea what holds it on. Also I would like to know if as on some John Deere that I was familuar with they used the same moldboard on both the 12" & 14" bottoms, did Case do anything like that? Is there a 14" case bottom that will bolt on instead of the blacksmith type share bottom as both his bottoms need a lot of work but I could do it if nesasary. If I could get any type of copy that would help me understand what I need to do. He pulls the plow with 5 head of belgin horses to farm with so all he is interested in is it working, dosn't need to be kept like factory but he has to stay with steel wheels and clutch lift. Thanks Loren, The picture will realy help, the parts list come thru so small that with a magnifying glass I can only read part of it.What should be used in that clutch, 20 weight motor oil or 90 weight gear oil, something else? How do you take off the wheels? Is there a threaded cap that you take of to get to a pin?
