There is some literature on ebay (not mine) that lists the Jet Star 3, U302, M602 and then the G706 in either 2wd or 4wd, no mention of the G705.....was wondering if that is why from time to time a person sees a G706 2wd? Im sure some have had the front ends changed through the years but Ive always seen the G705-G706s listed together with the 705 in 2wd and the 706 always in 4wd. It also mentions 3pt hitch available. Must be later 1964..just before the M670? |

There's a 706 being used in Iowa that belongs to the origional owner, it's a 2 wheel drive, it sat on the dealer showroom floor so long that the dealer changed it to a 2 wheel drive to sell it. There at that time, no one saw any advantage to paying more for the FWA. |

Can you link to the auction? All the brochures & manuals & can recall seeing are for both G705 & G706. ~ MAJ |

My first 706 diesel was decaled a 705. There was a $ 1500.00 reason for that when the tax assesor looked at it. It did not bother me that it was decaled wrong. Our second 706 D was decaled correctly. No tax man where I lived at that time! clint. |

Here is a picture of the ad. It looks to be a two page from a magazine I imagine.

"cut & paste" the "address" which is usually visible toward the top of you screen, to the "Optional Link URL" box, just below the box you type a normal post on here. It usually works. if not, you could post the eBay auction number, could search it that way too. |

I have that add. It's a case that the ad-agency got lazy & didn't add the G705 or M604. describes both G706 & M602 as available with 2 or 4 wheel-drive. Magazines adds can't be trusted half as much as "sales literature" as there were many "printing errors" |
