Was waiting until I had a few hours on my (12V) 8N to order new headlights, after replacing the head gasket, they were there a couple weeks ago before I went on the road, now neither here nor just 8n's seems to have them, WHAT happened ???

HEADLIGHT SET - 12 VOLT - For Models: 600, 620, 630, 640, 650, 660, 700, 740, 750, 800, 820, 840, 900, 950, 960, 2000, 4000, 9N, 2N, 8N, NAA 1939-1964. This is a pair of headlight assemblies Complete with sealed beam bulb. EXACTLY like original with TRACT-O-LITE stamped into housing. (Part No: 2N13005-12V) $181.45

I'm assuming since you converted it to 12V that you're not looking to "restore" it.
If you're going to use it and looking for lights, the local farm stores sell them for about $15 each.
No, they don't look like the originals, but then, 8N's didn't have them from the factory.
Just an option if you're trying to save money.
