|
|
Hello everyone.
My VAC has the throttle mounted on the steering column and it is really sloppy. Aside from the notch on the lever being worn off (we welded a little on it and have somewhat reformed it) the spring and rubber bushing on it are fairly worn out.
Does anyone know of any new ones that are around or if there are aftermarket kits for it?
Thanks |

Are you talking the cast throttle lever? Those are tightened by a bolt and spring, no rubber parts. I have good used if needed. |

Mine has the newer throttle which is bolted to the
steering column. Its made from stamped steel and has
"teeth." |

this is a picture of a VAC with the same kind of
throttle lever that mine has.
(Same picture that I used on my "Seat" post.)

Ah ha! I was thinking the old style. I don't know if my butt would let that Bostrum seat go, but there's one on ePay. I have a spare late dash for parts. Let me look at it. |

Haha. I can understand that. I think mine should
keep the old one anyways (I dont think my rump would
mind too much either.)
Thanks for the help! |
