The original subject was "Deere 450 dozer w3325 winch control valve".
I polshed the brass followers and the steel face on a piece of leather, and then bought 4 curved washers 8mm from napa and added then behind the ones that were all ready there put it back together and had 3400 lbs pf pressure, if your control feels like it will come out of free spool real easy its because there isn't enough pressure on the faces, the other thin I did was check the detent springs and mine were bent because the plugs had been tightened to much, so I reversed those springs and reassembled it just beyond hand tight, it seems that surface pressure is the answer good luck John |
