Ok i have a 706 diesel that was blowing water out the radiator. So i figured busted head well i was correct bust all over. So i had one that was good no cracks after magnaflux. I installed it and now i think im blowing water worse than before. The head was resurfaced and valves redone. I used a felpro gasket set and torqued it 15 lb incraments after the first 50 lbs. Any ideas i was told to use coppercoat on the gasket? thanks |

There are several that say the felpro gaskets are no good and have had this same issue. Get one from caseih copper coat both sides. This is suppose to be the answer. Not going from experience, only from what I"ve read. |

I resently bought a caseih gasket set and the head gasket was made by felpro. I then bought a felpro set and put gaskets side by side, same gaskets. Felpro set is better deal due to price and included injector seals. |

Use new head bolts and make sure they do not bottom out in their holes. |
