Can someone please give me correct adjustment on the high and low jets on my 340 utility gas engine with zenith carb. I have two different people tell me two different settings for the high jet, one says 2 1/2 turns out and the other says start at 4 1/2 turns out. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Start both of them at 1 1/2 turns. While running adjust them a 1/4 turn at a time.

make damm sure engine is at operating temperature also or you'll never get it adjusted right.
