Rear rims silver, generator and starter Flambeau red or black (I have been told they came both ways, your option), tractor Flambeau Red.

thanks to you guys see i thought it was all flambaeu red i have seen them painted with the so called white or beige and flambaeu red but i could not find any beige any weres on the tractorso were in texas are you derrol me i am from around troy area |

Will, the other color on the two tone tractors, 1957 and later, is called Desert Sunset. While you will see DCs, SCs, VACs and LAs painted two tone one of two things has happened.
1. A new owner either didn't know they were all Flambeau Red or just liked the two tone scheme and painted it that way.
2. I have been told by folks in the know that dealers painted the older inventory to match the new models in order to update and sell them during the model change.
BTW I also agree with Derrol about Texas operators and painting them proud.

Will, I live in the edge of Fritch, 35 miles North of Amarillo. All the farm land is 20 miles North or 20 miles South, 40 miles West or 30 miles East. But I play with tractors anyway. 806-274-1096 ---Derrol in Texas---
