I saw something today that caught my eye. Bet it would have caught yours too. There was a red Oliver 550 sitting on the lot at North Center Farm Supply in Armada. I should have jumped out and checked the serial number but I didn't. I don't know if it was gas or diesel. It was a late one with the egg crate grille. The decals didn't look to me like they were Clover White. Looked more of a creme color same as the wheels.
Maybe yours isn't a one of a kind after all.

Thanks for the heads up. I get down to Port Huron once a month, so maybe I"ll swing around there to look at it.
Congrats on the 1365. You"ll like it. Neighbors got 3 of them. Bought one new in 74, other 2 came later. Asked him about parts , He deals with Card Bros. Said he ain"t needed anything they couldn"t get....yet.

I"d leave the little guy red if it were mine. Let me tell you a story. Just after I got thr 550 neighbor (same one, farms with whites and oliver) came driving up the lane. Seen the little red guy and stopped right away. Come right over just alookin. When he got close enough he says "oh it is an Oliver. Thought you went and jumped the fence"
Gotta keep"um guessin Randy, Gotta keep"um guessin

You mean one like this one!

I bought this one off of the internet six or seven years ago from a family near Toronto.  It had already been restored when I bought it.  One of the featured tractors for the HPOCA Summer Show is the 550, so plan to take it.

I know the feeling. My cletrac HG42 was often mistaken at shows, by the commentator, as an Allis Chalmer, so we named her 'Alice' (the charmer). At least they are closer, now.

That's the color, but it has Oliver 550 decals on it. They don't have the background, just white letter and number decals on the red paint.

My dad has a cockshutt 550. Someone painted it green before we got it. Use it to plant and spray. Have the swinging drawbar and factory remote. Are you in the thumb rusty? I"m in Sandusky
