I don't know the spec's but someone will probably post JD's 800 phone number to call to get the spec's. |

A few lines of info on the Internet from Bunba can't match 300 plus pages of info from the factory engineers . We would be doing you a disservice by giving just info to be dangerous.
The operators and service manuals are very reasonable in price from 1-800-522-7448.
Parts manual is a PDF file on the JD web site.
What chassis and model year? Any options? |

This is from a 420 service manual. Should be the same as the 430 but not positive. Buba will let you know for sure!

It's possible that rogerd is very knowledgeable with mechanical skills and only needs the spec's to successfully replace the cyl head. Geez working on a JD 2 cyl gasoline engine doesn't require a Nuclear Scientist knowledge. |
