On my '37 JT there is a 2" piece of radiator hose going from the top of the water pump to the front side of the oil filter housing. I need to replace this. Can I just remove the four bolts and take off the oil filter housing? Just want to make sure there are no springs or check valves or anything that will come flying out of there!
Also, what keeps the oil and the coolant separate, since they are apparently right next to each other? Is it only the gasket? I've had the oil filter housing off my UB, but never on this tractor. |

I did pull the filter and housing off. I spoke with Tony Thompson and he answered my questions. |
