Need someone to work on a 1953 John Deere G. Runs but
needs adjustments. Possibly timing and valves. Also needs
throttle linkage and carb adjustments. Located in Sullivan IL. I
have no way to transport it. |

These tractors are not the difficult to work on yourself. Unless a guy is just absolutely not mechanicaly inclined. Which I think if one is they shouldn't have it in the first place. Just my opinion. Get a book on it and dive in and learn something new. Good luck. |

i'm not sure if i agree, while they are prety easy to work on, just because one doesnt have a mechanical backround doesnt mean the shouldnt own one. i'm pretty new to these tractors, but if you can kinda explain what it is or isnt doing there is a lot of guys on this forum willing and able to help you thru it. i'm in north central illinois otherwise i'd take a look at it for ya |
