John Deere coolant test strips

Does anyone use these coolant test strips from John Deere? I went to purchase some (1st time) and noticed they had only 2 bottles of the strips and both were expired. At $26 for just 10 of them and the fact both were expired (date on the lid)tells me that not many use them. Does anyone use them? Are other sources available, say NAPA for example?

Napa,Carquest or anyplace that sells big rig truck parts will have them. I have a bottle of them that are expired too. I am pretty sure the expired ones can give you some false readings.

Yes, I do use them in my tractors and trucks. Believe I got my last batch from Shoops. Not cheap but gives a good idea of the fidelity of the antifreeze in your expensive engines.
