Started my 1978, 966 farmall tractor and there is no 3 pt. hitch or front end loader, any suggestions as to what is wrong. Help?? |

DOES your PTO work ?? do you have steering and brakes?? Last time you changed your hyd. filter?? |

My feed tractor does that almost every morning when the temps are low. I let it sit there and warm up and it will eventually wakes up.
I suspect that the hydraulic oil needs to be changed; probably a high percentage of water.

streeing, brakes, pto all works tractor moves and drives no problame. I had issuse last spring with streeing and that stuff but I changed the Hyd. filter and it was all better. any help would be great.

If it is a 1978, it would be a 986. 1976 was the last year for the 66 series.
