About 3 PM Saturday, temp. 39 degrees, it started snowing. I had to go to the drugstore about 10 miles away and drove through heavy snowfall and slow traffic. By the time I got out of the store it had quit. Thundered some during the snow storm which is very rare here.

It is supposed to get down in the mid 20s tonight, so I fed the cows a bale of hay while it was above freezing. As I'm sure most of you know, cutting twine off a bale covered with ice and snow is no fun. Presently(5:30) it's not snowing, 35 degrees.

It's been sunny here in South Central Il. but only around 34°. Suppose to warm up in a few days and rain moving in then a possible mix. Have to wait and see.
