Looks more to me like a Zenith than a Marvel, but doesn't say Zenith on it.
Want to get the rebuild kit and get the right one.

I fairly recently swapped it for another one I rebuilt, so now it's this one's turn.

Thanx.

IO think it is a reproduction of a MS carb. Not a Zenith. I would try a basic MS carb rebuild kit.

Picture big enough?? To me if it is cast iron it is a M/S if aluminum it is a M/S wannabe but likely the M/S kit will work

Sorry, these new-fangled phones are overly aggressive on the pixel side, for sure.

Charlie;
If you go to YT parts, and look under carbs, you will see a carb there that has a part# of (wm-8N9510C) !! Listed for $133.??

That is what you have there!!
Takes a standard TSX33 carb kit, and is an 'AFTERMARKET' carb, NOT a Zenith, nor a Marvel Schebler!!! Manufacterer UNKNOWN!!
Think those are a 'pot metal' casting, and yes the early ones are/were, of a heavy nature.
Not too bad a carb, for an aftermarket. Smooth passages and easy to overhaul/clean up!!!!! I have done a couple, of those, with good results!!
BTDT!!!

HTH
Gary Wink

If I recall, I got that used from Wenger's, and it was on the air for about 5 years, very happy with it, got it for a good price.

If it will make ya feel better.......that particular carb, is the ONLY 'aftermarket' carb, that I will even concider, for overhaul.
My FIL, has one on his 8N, and loves it!!!
