Would anyone have a power steering unit for a 310B series Utility or any other 300 series Case tractor. Mine has a belt driven Eaton pump. I think the lower units are all the same on these tractors. At present I am not getting any response from the steering. I have had the reservoir apart and it a piers to be OK. AS well I have had the pump apart and it checks out with the Case Shop Service Manual tolerances I also removed the relief valve and checked it for free movement and the required tolerances all assembled with new "O" rings.I have also had the lower valve and actuator assembly apart three times changing the "O" Rings on the spool valve and adjusting the adjuster nut on the actuator with no luck. There is a good possibility that the packing on the rod is "shot". As you may know you are unable to fix the packing unless you machine off the end head to get the rod out.
If anyone could offer assistance on me finding some parts it sure would be appreciated. Thanks. |

I think you probably need to look for somebody to professionally refurbish the unit. I found a new one a month or so ago and they wanted about $2500.00 for it. |
