|
|
Last summer I began replacing the hydraulic hoses on my early 310 backhoe. I got all of the hoses changed out from the front bucket back to the distribution manifold.
During our recent blizzard, I was using the machine to move snow...
One of the hoses blew under the backhoe digger lower pivot point and spewed out a lot of oil...I parked the machine right there...now it is in the middle of my driveway and I really need to move it.
Now I am trying to figure out if I can some how use a longer hose to by-pass the blown one.
I have the hoe in the pinned upright position, so I can't even access any of the hoses.
I looked at it today again, and the blown hose may be the one that feeds the boom cylinder...
Not good...
I am looking for suggestions on what you would do. Thanks for your help.

if you were not using the hoe how could a hose burst the only hose with pressure on wold be the supply hose to the spool and then the return line so no hoses to any rams would have any pressure on them and if the hoe was in lock position there was no pressure on the lower ram unless the leaver got pushed or pulled |

Yes, in order to push the crowd out, lever was moved, not sure if I accidently moved the boom lever causing the burst....
Can't tell yet which line is blown... |

Any hose that is open will leak fluid. It dosen't have to have that lever moved to leak fluid. |
