Tractor was split to install new clutch and related parts. 3 pt worked before splitting. It has hydraulic pressure because the remotes work fine. Touch control lever does nothing. If bypass valve is stuck open or control valve not moving is there any way to free these without removing the entire hydraulic cover? |

if the remotes work.. but no 3pt..then ery likely it is the unloader valve.. they tend to stick.
no free meal on this on.
you might runit 20m and finagle the touch control while running around the yard and it may magically start working.. otherwise.. top cover kit is about 15$ and a lil heavy lifting.. |

You might try working the remote handle with motor running and nothing connected to couplers. Sometimes that works. Sometimes. |

Have you tried it in both draft control (lever down) and position control (lever up)?? |

Thanks for all the replies. The bad part is I just painted the tractor and I hate to screw up what I already painted. You say run it around the yard for 20 minutes and hope. How about I run it around for a half day a hope? I really don't want to take the top off!
Thanks again. |

I got lucky! I took your advice and ran it around for a couple of hours and worked the control lever and the draft lever and it started working like nothing had been wrong. I will start it up tomorrow morning and see if it continues to work. Thanks to all that replied. |
