I just made myself a chart of the ground speeds of the different older Fords and cannot find info on the 700/900 SOS trannies. Are they different from the 600/800's? If someone has this info I would appreciate it.

According to my 701/901 Owner's Manual the gear ratios for the SOS from 1st to 10th are 38.0:1, 26.7:1, 25.6:1, 18.0:1, 11.3:1, 8.77:1, 7.62:1, 5.93:1, 3.66:1, 2.47:1. R1 is 12.8:1 and R2 is 8.65:1. Tire diameter will affect the ground speed in each gear. |

Transmissions are the same.
Ground speeds may differ slightly due to rear axle and final reduction gearing.
