Judging by the serial number she's a 1957.

I am finishing up a hyd flush and eagle hitch cylinder rebuild this weekend.Thanks John Saeli for the parts .Proper renumeration is in the mail!Will you be pursing this jewel?She looks pretty good.I am trying to get a better look at her slippers.I spent about 2500 just on 4 tires for my 411,and I FEEL I GOT A GOOD PRICE ON THEM.HAVE YOU HEARD HER RUN? I GOT LUCKY AND BRAKES WERE SOLID AND I HAD GOOD COMPRESSION.WATER PUMP WILL HAVE TO BE REBUILT BEFORE I DO ANY PLOWING OR TRACTOR RIDES.SOMETHING TO DO WHEN I SPRING HITS.CHUCK

Case dealers were finally able to be proud of selling a tractor that was ahead of the competition. The 400 may have rescued the company from oblivion-for awhile anyway. Don

Don, totally agree. The 2 major milestones with J.I. Case have to be the big 400 and the 70 series. Not that the Case tractors in between were bad tractors but just badly dated.

There's a "pretty one" on e-bay for $4200.00. Never drove one but herd alot ah good about them. Thanks for sharing
