If it is in the condition it looks then it is worth a lot. A new Idea of that style in that type of condition is around a thousand dollars. If it had been changed over to rubber tires then I could not sell it. This is in Amish area for use.

That needs to go in someone's collection. There can't be many Case spreaders as nice as that one left.

I have looked everywhere and can't find anything like it. It has been in the barn my whole life it works perfectly trust me there has been many days I wish it would have something go wrong I have filled it many of times. Grandpa said he was offered $2500 for it. But that was 10 years ago. Been looking aroud to find anything to base prie from and not having any luck. An Amish guy offered $400 for it. Thought that was low. Thanks for any help

Do not let the amish get it! They'll use it to you death! Put that gem in the photo ads! I'd take it but I'm getting short on barn space.

Decent manure spreader in that size with center axle, rubber tires that are pulled by tractor are 1200 and up, depending on the shape, even older ones. I bought a CASE T6 70 bu. one in Taos, NM a JD green Case metal w/ wooden floor (good shape), tires are poor and fair ,for a good bit of $$ last summer. Was the best I had found in about 6 months within a day's driving distance .....and 5 weeks after I got it, I found a somewhat rougher one in an auction for 525,-, had better tires, though 20s (mine are 18s)....
My point being, take your time and don't let people "take it off your hands".... No need to let a middle man make some of "your" money.....!!
And you may want to think about putting it on "permanent loan" or as donation to a museum. Might still let you do some juggling with taxes...!
My 2 cents from Oklahoma. Ralph.

Wow, I couldn't sell it if it was my Grandpa's. I'd rack my brain for another way to get the money needed. Too sentimental of an item.

Isn't using it better than the alternitive of somebody getting it for a yard ornement and setting out unprotected all the time or worse yet having them fill the bed with dirt to plant flowers in it ans still be setting out in all the weather?
