I ordered an electric start attachment. There was NO instructions in box. Pretty easy to figure out how to mount the starter drive but where do you normally mount the push button? It only has a short lead from button to starter drive so can't be too far away. Do you just attach it to flywheel housing tin work? Thanks for your help. |

I'd say yes, attach it wherever the lead will reach that's strong enough to hold it. We've got 2 Cub Cadets at work with factory installed electric start and they're mounted on the tin. Pretty short leads on those starters.....

I have a 10hp MTD blower and the push button is
mounted on the engine just above the choke and throttle levers. The primer button is in that area too. Hal
PS: I may snap a pic on Monday and post it. Calling for snow on Wed and I may start it. Hal |

I took some pics of my starter button this morning. I'll post a picture once they're downloaded. Hal |
