Hi all, I wanted a bit more HP while blowing snow so I found an overhauled Tecumseh OH160 engine reasonably priced but it had no SSI unit so I went with Dale Colvert / Overnight Solutions aftermarket ignition system, Dales system is pretty much a plug and play kit. The installation of the 16 hp engine isn't a drop in deal it requires some drilling and fabricating but isn't all that hard to do. The biggest thing is fabricating a clutch pivot bracket as the original bracket is part of the started / gen mount. Got it done and the engine starts and runs great and t all seems to be working.

Looks Good, GB. Are you going to paint the rest of it Red like the engine? I like the yellow grille screen to match the engine accent color. |
