I'm looking at an 841 ford. It has the aux trans. and power steering. Did the 841 have a two stage clutch. Thanks for the help. ED |

No. 841 and 851 used a single clutch. It was the 861 that used the double clutch for live PTO. |

841 has a 4 speed transmission No live PTO and also the only one that can have the aux transmission and very likely to be a 3 speed Sherman which give it 12 forward gears. It does have live hyds. I have owned one since back in the early 80s and found it to be a good tractor. My 841 has a loader on it power steering and a Sherman Combo aux transmission giving it the 12 forward speeds I talked about |

i don't specifically belive an 841 is the only one that can have an aux trans. i don't see why a 821 or an 831 build couldn't have them.

Maybe I should have said the only ones that can have the Sherm,an aux are the ones with the 4 speed which would include the ones you are talking about LOL |
